Deck Safety Awareness

content

This two day course is aimed at technicians, researchers, students, observers and others who usually work on land but may be called upon to work aboard vessels at sea.

In other words, it is a course for non-seafarers who find themselves working at sea. Whilst this scenario will apply to many occupations we hope that the course will have particular relevance to workers in the Renewables Industry.

There is an emphasis on learning about hazards and dangers, both obvious and not so obvious. The course also looks at the routines and procedures used aboard working vessels that might differ from safety measures applied on land.
