Nordic Studies Seminar - Sea, Fishing Taboos around the North Sea

Dr Arne Kruse will talk about 'Sea and Fishing Taboos around the North Sea'  on Monday 13th March.

He is the senior lecturer in Norwegian at the University of Edinburgh. He has also been a fisherman. Hailing from a small fishing community off the west coast of Norway and knows and understands the sea. The talk will be held in Orkney College doors open at 7pm.
