We work closely with the schools in Orkney to support the Curriculum for Excellence, providing a range of Skills for Work courses that allow young people to explore and work towards vocational qualifications.
The University of the Highlands and Islands is Scotland’s newest university and we celebrated achievement of that title in 2011. Orkney College UHI leads on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate networked courses.
Staff in the College have had considerable success in research in a number of areas – Agronomy, Archaeology, Cultural and Nordic Studies, details of which you can find on the research pages of this site.
