If you’re about to start a shorter course, work placement or internship we understand you might not need a room for the normal tenancy length. The properties listed here offer flexible, short-term lets throughout the year, aimed at students who attend for part week or in blocks of weeks who wish to have a regular local base.

We would like to offer accommodation to students studying through Orkney College. This would not be permanent long let but on a nightly basis and aimed at Island students who attend for part week or in blocks of weeks who wish to have a regular local base.
We can offer a single bedroom with private shower room and possibly an en-suite bedroom. Each room with a desk, tv, comfortable seating with linen, towels and Wi-fi included. There will be sole use of a mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave per room. We will also provide food for a basic continental breakfast and are open to discuss other requirements in line with current COVID-19 restrictions. Pricing variable dependent on length of stay and frequency.
The property is situated on Sunnybank Road, overlooking the town, with the Kirkwall town bus service running past the house, thus hourly transport to Orkney College and the town centre.
